Baby shower! Nov. 30th.

Thanks to my good friends and neighbors Nina and Virginie, I had a lovely babyshower on Nov 30th!

 Thank you Virginie and Nina!

How big could the belly's circumference be???

 Creativity at work!

The unbeliiiievably good cheesecake with raspberries and syrup! Yummy!

Do we really need all these things??? From technology to the super cute-it was all included!

THANK YOU ladies for celebrating and providing support, insights and wonderfully helpful presents!

Of course the baby-shower muffins could not be missed! I've turned into a muffin baking machine! Haha!

And voila! The final product: wrapped and ready to go...!

Baby-belly starting 9th month!

Ok, it is true. Just as you think you cannot possibly get bigger and more uncomfortable - you do!

Here some pictures from the last few days. Thanksgiving included.

Thanksgiving dinner at our friends' house around the corner from our house.

Going out to dinner with friends...

And...trying out a new outfit! :)

Baby-belly starting 8th month!

Nov. 3rd. - starting into the 8th month! Hard to believe but true!!!

It's sometimes difficult to show the true size of the little ball that I am carrying around!

Latest pic of the three of us...

It realized that we do not take enough pictures! There are hardly any of me being pregnant, or at least those I would want to share with the public! So here a most recent one from last Sunday. Belly is definitely growing! :-)

Muffins galore!

I think the nesting instinct has also brought out the Susie-homemaker instincts in me! I've been baking muffins on a continuous basis. Especially in the early morning hours when I can't sleep. Or cannot go back to sleep yet....

The latest muffin creations consisted of:

Whole grain banana-pecan
Marble cake
Whole grain carrot pecan

Other additions...

It seems every day there is a new baby gadget arriving. Besides the car, we also had the stroller delivered this weekend. Of course we made every mistake you can make during assembly and only after watching the instructional video repeatedly we finally succeeded! :-)

It seems there is only one thing missing!

New wheels!

Finally! After much paper-shuffling and back and forth with the dealer, we were able to pick up our brand-new car today! It is a Volvo XC 60, diesel with 4 wheel drive, automatic and all kinds of cool safety gadgets. It was a gray day here Munich, but it didn't matter as for us it was a memorable day.!!!
