Luca 8 months!

While in Sicily for our summer vacation - Luca turned 8 months old on August 18th! He is just now starting to pull himself forward with his arms. So far you couldn't really call it crawling but you get the idea of what is to come very soon. He does roll himself where ever he wants to go though! 

Last night in Faro, Sicily...

Today marked Luca's first time in saltwater! He absolutely loved the experience!

Luca is a GOOD eater. It seems pretty much everything goes. Delightfully he is taking an active role by grabbing the spoon or any other paraphenalia close by....:-0 The whole thing gets messy very quickly....;-)

Luca 7 1/2 months

Here a few snapshots from around the house... ;-)

Luca's preferred method of moving around is rolling. He can rotate himself 360 degrees on his belly and then supplements with several rolls in order to reach faraway places. What a cutie. Crawling is not far behind I think....
