Recent pictures of Luca Antonio Micali

Time flies when you're having fun, right? Well it DOES ! I have not been able to keep up with the pictures and hope these will make up for the gap.

Luca is developing nicely and we enjoy discovering his new little sounds and gestures daily. He now reaches out with his hands to your face to touch and discover. It is so cute! He also loves to pull on noses, hair, etc....!

He started letting out these little screams before every feeding a couple of days ago. It sounds like a parrot!!! Very shrill and the neighbors sure love it! Haha!

For lunch he now eats about 200gr. of food, which I mostly cook myself. Right now he is into carrots and sweet potatoes mixed with some fennel tea. We also started giving him a bit of organic apple sauce a couple of days ago. The grimacing and facial expressions were priceless!!!

Tonight I tried to feed him a bit of baby oats at dinner time, but since he had just eaten he flung that spoon as far as he could and kept pushing my hand away. He sampled it, but I think once he's really hungry he will eat it.

He weighs 7 kilos now and at his last check was 64 cm. He's our little miracle!

Here a few recent snapshots!!!

Trip to Tuscany over Easter! 31.3.-10.4.2012

Carlo, Luca and I embarked on our first road trip as a family last week.

We planned for an overnight pit stop at Lago di Garda to shorten the way.
The next three nights we stayed at an agriturismo near Florence. (http://www.salvadonica.com/)

After that we moved further south to Siena and planted ourselves in the country side for the next five nights. (http://www.agriturismosangallo.com/ENG/home.html)

The only sounds at night and during the day we could hear were of the many pheasants  and sheep in the fields surrounding us.

Some people said we were brave taking a three and a half month old baby for such a long trip, but it all worked out! Luca set the pace and we followed.

Here some pictures and best snapshots from along the way.
